First Day Hike
Start off the New Year with an invigorating walk or hike at Trinidad Lake State Park. It's a great way to cure cabin fever and burn off those extra holiday calories. There are three hikes available ranging from rigorous to casual. Refreshments will be served at the end of the hikes (approximately noon). Participants will begin each hike by meeting at the Visitor Center.

Moderate
Starts at 11am. The one-mile Levsa Canyon Trail is a moderately challenging hike as it winds its way through forest and meadow with panoramic views of the lake from the mesa rim. Fifteen interpretive stations along the way share the area's history and specific native plants.
Casual
Starts at 11am. An easy, wheelchair and stroller accessible 3/4-mile walk on the paved Park View Trail. There are 16 interpretive stations exploring the area's history and specific native plants, as well as a large playground. Perfect for the whole family.
